He founded Kadakkal educational trust in the year 2001 to give education to all the students – regardless of their skin color, families income, language spoken at home, or how they identify – should have access to high quality learning opportunities that allow them to achieve educational excellence.

To achieve his dream towards education he started SHM Engineering college in the year 2002 in the loving memory of his father Shahul Hameed who was great Philantropist.Now SHM Engineering college successfully completed 20 years of excellence in the educational field by creating engineering individuals, enterpreneurs and professionals who will change the world into next generation.

Mohamed Riyaz , The executive director of SHM Engineering college, son of Mohammed Rasheed completed his B.Tech (Mechanical) from SHM Engineering college and took his masters in Msc (International Business Management) from University of Bedfordshire,London (United Kingdom)

He is also a trust member of Kadakkal Educational Trust and governing body member of Le Associates.Currently serving as the Managing partner of Al Noor Technical Resources, Abu Dhabi(UAE)
